Lead CE&I Electrical Engineer\n\nWarrington (Hybrid - 3 Days On Site)\n\n£61-£67 per Hour (Inside IR35)\n\nLong-Term Contract\n\nLead the Design of Critical Nuclear Infrastructure\n\nAre you an experienced Lead CE&I Electrical Engineer looking to play a pivotal role on one of the UK's most technically challenging nuclear programmes?\n\nWe're seeking an accomplished engineer to take ownership of Control, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) design across a portfolio of front-end engineering (FEED) projects, leading multidisciplinary design delivery from concept through to detailed design.\n\nIf you thrive in highly regulated environments, enjoy leading design teams and want to influence major engineering decisions, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll lead the delivery of CE&I design packages, ensuring projects progress safely, efficiently and to programme.\n\nWorking within an integrated engineering team, you'll:\n\nLead the CE&I design delivery for major FEED projects\nDrive engineering solutions from concept through preliminary and detailed design\nProduce and review high-quality engineering documentation\nLead design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers\nSupport installation and commissioning with design query resolution\nWork closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions\nEstimate engineering effort, manage design schedules and support project planning\nEnsure all work complies with CDM regulations and quality management processes\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\nWe're looking for someone with significant experience delivering CE&I projects within highly regulated industries, ideally nuclear.\n\nYou'll have experience with:\n\nElectrical Power & LV Services Design\n\nProcess Instrumentation Design\n\nCE&I Safety Systems\n\nProgrammable Electronic Systems (PES)\n\nRadiometric Instrumentation\n\nPanel layouts, cable routing, cable management and cable calculations\n\nYou'll also be confident in:\n\nLeading engineering teams and design delivery\nProducing and checking technical documentation\nTranslating client requirements into practical engineering solutions\nFront-end engineering, optioneering and design strategy\nWorking to demanding project milestones\nCommunicating effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teamsExperience with Machinery Safety, UKCA Marking, and managing design delivery teams would be highly advantageous.\n\nAbout You\n\nYou'll ideally hold:\n\nONC minimum (Engineering Degree preferred)\nIEng or CEng professional registration\nA collaborative approach with excellent communication skills\nStrong technical leadership and mentoring capability\n\nWhy Apply?\n\n£61-£67 per hour (Inside IR35)\nHybrid working - 3 days per week in Warrington\nLong-term contract on a nationally significant nuclear programme\nLead complex engineering projects from concept to delivery\nWork alongside some of the UK's leading nuclear engineering specialistsIf you're ready to take the lead on technically challenging CE&I projects and help shape the future of the UK's nuclear infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.\n\nApply today or get in touch for a confidential discussion
