Health and Social Care Assessor (Field-Based)\nPortsmouth and Surrounding Areas | Field-based with travel required\nFull-time | Permanent\n£33,000 per year + bonus + expenses\nPlease only apply if you meet the following essential criteria:\n * Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33)\n * Level 5+ qualification in Health & Social Care\n * Minimum 2 years’ recent management experience in Adult Health and Social Care\n * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel\n * Comfortable working independently in a field-based role\nApplications will only be considered from candidates who meet all the essential criteria listed above.\nThe Role\n * We’re recruiting for a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to support apprenticeship learners across workplace settings.\n * This role focuses specifically on only carrying out workplace observations and contributing to learner progress, working alongside Personal Development Managers who lead the wider apprenticeship journey.\n * You will work with learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas, with travel planned to maximise efficiency.\n * You will typically complete 10 observations per week, alongside planning, reporting, and remote admin work.\n * This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care.\nKey Responsibilities\n * Conduct workplace observations in care settings\n * Assess learners against apprenticeship standards\n * Provide structured feedback and support progression\n * Manage a caseload of learners across your region\n * Ensure compliance with Ofsted and awarding body requirements\n * Support learners through mock assessments and reviews\nBenefits\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown\n * Bonus scheme\n * Pension & life assurance\n * Health cash plan & wellbeing support\n * EV car scheme access\n * Referral bonus\n * Plus, many more\nAbout t2 Group\nt2 Group is the UK’s largest health and social care apprenticeship provider, delivering high-quality apprenticeships and professional qualifications.\nWe focus on quality, consistency, and supporting both learners and employers to achieve strong outcomes across the Health & Social Care sector.\nApply today to join our team and support the next generation of Health & Social Care professionals
