Join a leading construction materials manufacturer and take ownership of an established, high-potential territory\n\nArea Sales Manager | construction | | £45,000 + £15K OTE Car Allowance\n\nRare opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturer supplying essential materials into civils, infrastructure and groundworks projects across the UK.\n\nThis is an established territory with strong existing contractor relationships already in place, giving you a solid platform to focus on growth, account development and winning new project opportunities.\n\nThis role is ideal for an ambitious field sales professional looking to build a long-term career within a respected manufacturer offering structured training, support and clear progression opportunities.\n\nThe Role of Area Sales Manager\n\n * Field sales role covering NG / LE / DE postcode regions\n\n * Representing a leading manufacturer of aggregates and heavy-side construction materials\n\n * Managing and developing relationships with sub-contractors, civils contractors and groundworks contractors\n\n * Building strong relationships at site level to secure repeat and ongoing business\n\n * 70% account management growth / 30% new business development\n\n * Managing approximately 20 established contractor accounts across the region\n\n * Driving regional spend and maximising existing account potential\n\n * Identifying and securing new project opportunities across infrastructure and groundworks\n\n * Developing long-term customer partnerships across the territory\n\n * Working closely with internal teams to support project delivery and customer service excellence\n\nThe Company Hiring an Area Sales Manager\n\nOur client is a leading UK manufacturer operating within the construction materials and infrastructure sector.\n\nThey supply specialist products into major civil engineering, groundwork and infrastructure projects across the UK, supported by long-standing relationships throughout the construction supply chain.\n\nThe business has a strong reputation for reliability, operational excellence and technical expertise, underpinned by continued investment in manufacturing capability, service delivery and regional growth.\n\nDue to ongoing expansion and continued demand across key infrastructure sectors, they are strengthening their field sales team in key territories.\n\nThis is a business that invests heavily in its people, offering structured on-boarding, product training and ongoing development to support long-term career progression into senior sales and key account roles.\n\nThe Candidate for the Area Sales Manager\n\n * We are keen to speak with ambitious sales professionals looking to develop their career within a leading construction manufacturer.\n\n * This role would suit someone in the early to mid stages of their field sales career, ideally with at least 18 months B2B sales experience within construction sales\n\nWe would particularly welcome applications from:\n\n• Area Sales Managers\n• Territory Sales Managers\n• Business Development Managers\n• Internal Sales Executives looking to move into field sales\n• Merchant or distributor sales professionals\n\nMost importantly, you will be driven, commercially aware and confident building long-term customer relationships in a field-based environment.\n\nThe Package on Offer for the Area Sales Manager\n\n * £45,000 Basic Salary\n\n * £15K OTE\n\n * £4,000 Car Allowance\n\n * 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays\n\n * Option to buy or sell up to 5 additional days\n\n * Pension Scheme\n\n * Death in Service Benefit\n\n * Employee Assistance Programme\n\n * Occupational Health Support\n\n * Cycle to Work Scheme\n\n * Long Service Holiday Rewards\n\n * Full Training and Career Development Pathway\n\nRef: CPJ1853
