AI & Technical Business Coach

A leading national training provider is seeking an experienced AI & Technical Business Coach to support apprentices and employers across a range of AI, Data and Software Development programmes.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of digital skills development, helping learners apply emerging technologies, automation, data analysis and software development practices within real workplace environments.\n\nWorking closely with both apprentices and employers, you will provide predominantly one-to-one coaching and support throughout the learner journey, from onboarding through to End Point Assessment.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Deliver coaching across Software Development, Data Analysis and AI apprenticeship programmes\n\n * \n\n Support learners in developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful programme completion\n\n * \n\n Guide apprentices in applying coding, data analysis and AI tools to real business challenges\n\n * \n\n Conduct progress reviews, professional discussions and formative assessments\n\n * \n\n Support portfolio development and EPA preparation\n\n * \n\n Encourage innovation, problem-solving and workplace application of learning\n\n * \n\n Coach learners on AI adoption, automation tools, prompt engineering and digital productivity\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are keen to speak with candidates who have experience delivering, coaching, mentoring or assessing within digital, technical or apprenticeship environments.\n\nYou should have:\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of Software Development, Data Analysis and/or AI apprenticeship standards\n\n * \n\n Experience supporting the practical application of digital technologies within workplace environments\n\n * \n\n Understanding of software development methodologies, coding concepts and digital tools\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of AI technologies, automation platforms and data-driven decision making\n\n * \n\n Experience coaching, mentoring, teaching or assessing learners\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills\n\n * \n\n Strong organisational and time management abilities\n\n * \n\n A passion for emerging technologies and continuous professional development\n\nEssential Qualifications\n\nOne of the following:\n\n * \n\n PGCE, CertEd or QTS\n\n * \n\n Level 4 Teaching Qualification\n\n * \n\n Level 3 Teaching Qualification\n\n * \n\n Level 3 Assessor Qualification\n\nMaths & English\n\n * \n\n English Level 2 or above\n\n * \n\n Maths Level 2 or above\n\nTechnical Background\n\nEither:\n\n * \n\n Degree in AI, Data, Computer Science, Digital Technologies or a related field\n\nOr:\n\n * \n\n Minimum two years' relevant industry experience\n\nAdditional technical certifications relating to AI, Data or Digital technologies would be advantageous.\n\nAdditional Qualifications\n\n * \n\n Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) qualification desirable\n\n * \n\n Experience using OneFile or similar e-portfolio systems desirable\n\nWhat's on Offer?\n\nRemote-first working environment\n\nOpportunity to work with cutting-edge AI and digital programmes\n\nStrong focus on learner impact and innovation\n\nSupportive and collaborative culture\n\nOngoing professional development\n\nOpportunity to shape the future of digital skills and workforce development\n\nIf you are passionate about AI, digital transformation and helping others develop their careers in technology, we'd love to hear from you
